I have a tower PC with a dedicated graphics card installed and I am not getting a picture. Where can I connect a TFT monitor to a PC?
If you have purchased a PC with a graphics card, there are several options for connecting a monitor: the graphics card or the onboard socket.
However, only the connections directly on the graphics card will work once a graphics card has been installed in a tower PC. The onboard connection is automatically deactivated in this case.
• If a tower PC has a graphics card installed, the following applies: Please connect the monitor directly to the graphics card on the tower PC. You will find the graphics card slot further down. Then restart the PC.
• If no graphics card is listed in the product description, the following applies: Please connect the monitor to the onboard socket on the PC. Then restart the PC.
• Perform a device reset:
If the PC no longer starts, meaning that the screen remains "black", please follow these instructions:
1. Connect the PC to the mains and check that all plugs are firmly connected to one another. If you are using a multiple socket, it must be switched on.
2. Only if there is a switch/button on the power supply at the back of the PC, press it, or make sure that it is switched on.
3. Then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds and release it, wait for 5 seconds, and then briefly press the power button for 1 second.
